Hotels near the airport in Palau
Koror contains much of Palau’s visitor accommodation and services. Airai sits at the southern end of Babeldaob, includes the international airport and connects by road to Koror. Islands beyond this connected area, including Peleliu, require separate arrangements. Pick a base around the balance of marine activities and overland visits you want to make.
Close on the map, practical when you land
Straight-line distance does not always reflect the road journey. Check the airport name and the actual transfer method. An advertised shuttle may cost extra or run only by prior arrangement.

- Shuttle hours and any extra charge
- Late check-in and early check-out arrangements
The setting in Palau
A stay sold around diving or excursions may contain very different services from a room-only reservation. Compare the outings, equipment where supplied, meals and transport arrangements. Request a breakdown of any activity-related charges too. These details need confirmation for your particular programme, rather than being inferred from the general description of the package.
Ask your boat operator whether it collects from the exact hotel address before choosing a room on proximity to Koror alone.
