Cheap hotels in Port-Vila, Vanuatu
A room near the waterfront can work for travellers alternating outings with time in town. An address around Erakor or towards Mele offers a different setting. Compare the facilities you would actually use at the property, then work out the transport required to reach the starting points of your chosen activities on Efate.
Compare the trip cost, not just one night
Compare a few dates if your route allows it. A simple room, a small guesthouse or more nights in one place may help keep costs down. Check refund terms before choosing the lowest rate: an inflexible booking can become expensive when plans change.
- Taxes and charges added to the room rate
- The price of a return transfer
- Nearby meal options within your budget
The setting in Port-Vila
Blue Lagoon is outside central Port Vila and belongs in an Efate outing rather than a town walk. Plan for the journey, food and any admission charge. Ask whether your accommodation arranges transport or whether you need a separate operator, then compare what the proposed outing includes before adding it to the holiday.
