Hotels with free cancellation in Rarotonga, Cook Islands
Avarua and its market suit travellers interested in town services and local produce. Muri adds a lagoon setting, activities and dining options. Look at the walking routes immediately around each property when comparing the two. Being beside the coastal road does not by itself tell you how close useful shops or restaurants are.
Flexibility belongs to the rate you select
One hotel can sell the same room under several sets of terms. Free cancellation does not necessarily mean no prepayment. Keep the terms displayed when you book and check transfers or added services separately.

- Charges after the deadline and for a no-show

The setting in Rarotonga
The road around Rarotonga helps make island touring straightforward to plan, but bus times still need to fit your outings. A short rental can complement a location that otherwise meets your needs. For a holiday home, also establish how keys are handed over if the international flight reaches the island late.
